I'm delighted you've stopped by! Get yourself something to drink and come sit with me for a minute.
How are you doing, my friend? Before we begin with me, I'd like to share some affirmations with you about God's love. Here are three things I want you to remember.
God loves you with an everlasting love. "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. . ." This phrase is very beautiful, isn't it? To know that God's love is eternal, is an element of mystery that mankind cannot begin to understand. When you reach a point in your life where the sins of your past or the sins of your family overwhelm you (I've been there), remember that God's love is powerful enough to cover a multitude of your sins. His door is always open to you.
God desires you. Remember the father in the story of the prodigal son? Well, imagine God in the place of that father and you and I in the place of the wayward son. God desires to be with you. He desires it so much that he will chase after you even though you've been running away from him. You could never exhaust his grace. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." You know what this means right? Yes. God wants you. He's always wanted you.
God sees you. You've been feeling invisible to those around you for a long time. Nobody values your sacrifices or your opinion. You may be wondering what's the point of your existence. The God who saw a King in a young shepherd boy and a Queen in a young immigrant woman, knows exactly who you are. He says "you are mine." Always remember who you are and whose you are.
Let me tell you about myself now that you've been reminded of how special you are. Click on my personal testimony to hear my story.
